how do you to hunt for dragon balls?

First you have to purchase a Dragon Ball Scouter Chip and insert into your scouter, and then you have to look for enemies in the +-5 level range compared to yours.
Your worldmap (upright screen corner) should show you some enemies marked with a dragonball symbol meaning that there is a chance that by killing that enemy you'll get a dragon ball.

At least that is what i've been told by some players. Hope it helps ❤

You won't just run into them by wandering the map, it has to be a mob that has re-spawned. Basically, it means the best way to hunt is to find a spot on the map where you're comfortable taking them out pretty quickly and just hanging around clearing out the same space over and over again. Also keep in mind that just because you see the dragon ball on your mini map doesn't mean that taking out that mob will get you one! It's a pretty low percentage honestly, a little bit higher if it's a rare mob. I don't know if the devs have played with the drop percentage at all, but I know in other iterations of Dragon Ball Online, it could turn into a drag real quick.

Hunting Dragon Balls is a Lottery when you go to hunt for them you never know if you'll get one or not.

Alright, experienced the hunt myself and can confirm... The grind is real, matches what I believe the drop rates were for the original versions. Random question if anyone knows, can Dragon Balls be dropped in the shared bank for use with other characters? I can test it when next I get a Dragon Ball, but for the moment, I need a break.

Update:
I don't see the option to buy a shared bank after buying the third upgrade... so now I feel like a dope for having wasted the coin on it.
