And as a personal opinion, as someone who has followed the anime since episode 1, while it has its ups and downs, this is still a work created by the great Akira Toriyama. That means everything we’ve seen in this series is completely canon. There is no anime that compares to Dragon Ball, because Dragon Ball is one of a kind.
