Ultimate Dragon Ball Online - Public Beta Update Notes Get ready for the most exciting adventure yet! Here’s everything you need to know about the amazing changes and enhancements we’ve made to bring Ultimate Dragon Ball Online to life. Please note that this post only includes a not-so-brief summary of the changes, and that many more will need to be discovered as you enjoy this brand new world!
Gameplay Enhancements
- Complete Class Reworks: Every class has been revamped to provide a fresh feel and better balance across all level caps. Skills now have secret bonus effects (e.g., faster animations, increased range) that make every skill worth maxing out!
- Movement Speed Boosts: All Kid and Female races now move at the same speed as Human Male adults.
- Single Player Experience: The game, including every class, has been redesigned in a way that both enhances and promotes playing in the open world with just one character, without ever needing buffs.
- Stats Adjustments:
- STR and SOUL grant more attack power.
- CON offers significantly more LP.
- Critical & Regen Limits:
- Critical block rate capped at 60%.
- LP and EP regeneration on hit capped at 50%.
- Upgrade System Rework: Soft cap of +12. Any attempt at going beyond that will prove to be especially difficult.
- Skill Reworks:
- Faint Death grants total immunity to incoming attacks.
- Ask Popo’s Help is now an AoE revive for everyone.
- Kami's Retreat (Poko Priest) now allows you to fight!
- Most buffs of the same category can now stack with each other.
- Many "useless" skills have been made valuable and can now contribute to endless build possibilities.
- Confusion, Fear status travel distance increased.
Combat Changes
- PvE Update: PvE has received a massive change, mainly for end game content where attack speed is the default pick, and is now designed to let players enjoy taking on any challenge with either their abilities or with auto attacks.
- Skill Visual Effects Revamp: All skills now feature stunning VFX updates to align with their effects and iconic Dragon Ball attacks (e.g., Final Flash, Burning Attack). Some skills even have unique animations at max level!
- CC Status Visual Enhancement: All status effects are now much easier to see.
- Critical Damage Boosts: Skills with back damage bonuses now deal even higher crit damage!
- Transformations Reworked:
- 20-minute cooldowns for transformations allow multiple uses in PvE and PvP.
- Balanced and enhanced for a better experience.
- Aggro System Overhaul: A proper MMO experience with smarter boss mechanics and challenging dungeons.
- Boss Buffs:
- Higher defenses and new offensive abilities for bosses across the game.
- Diverse mechanics have been reworked.
- Boss aggro will be much harder to manage.
PvP Enhancements
- Budokai Updates:
- Preliminaries (RO32) matchins determined by Dojo Seeding → PvP Ranked Battle Rankings.
- Hero and Conqueror titles after 5 wins.
- Special Champion title for the first adult Solo Budokai winner each month.
- Ranked Battles Revamp:
- Matching limit increased to players within 7 levels of each other.
- Top 3 players rewarded with unique prizes every week. Rankings reset weekly.
- Severe penalties for win-trading.
- Crowd Control Adjustments:
- Diminishing return of consecutive CC duration reduction lowered to 10% (from 20%).
- Focus stat CC reduction capped at 20% (from 40%).
World & Content Improvements
- World Boss System:
- Exclusive weekly quests unlocked for each new bosses across the world.
- Respawn times: 30 minutes for starter maps, 1 hour for others.
- Quests Galore: Hundreds of new quests, including weekly quests!
- Quests Gear Rework: Quest Gear has been revamped and redesigned to be strong enough for dungeons and PvP! However, they cannot be upgraded.
- EXP Adjustments:
- Total EXP requirements revamped to fit quests better.
- EXP books now stack with scrolls for faster leveling.
- Pendulum Room: Evolves with level caps to maintain difficulty and loot value.
- Map & Design Improvements: Every area has received visual upgrades to enhance your adventure!
- High Quality Cosmetics: In Ultimate Dragon Ball Online, our creations are made with a never seen before quality, and whose details will leave players speechless, such as the Gamma 1 & 2 outfits.
- Stylist: Enjoy countless ways to stylize your character with the help of the Stylist NPC!
Quality of Life Updates
- Translations:
- The game has been entirely translated to English
- Various languages will be available through the launcher's settings toggle.
- User Interface & Graphics:
- A brand new UI has been designed and set as default for Ultimate Dragon Ball Online. An option to change back to the old UI will be added directly in the launcher.
- Added integration of shaders, toggleable with the "HD Graphics" settings in the launcher.
- Item Stack Increase: All stackable collectible and consumables now stack up to 250.
- New Bind Type: Account-bound items can be shared between characters via the Shared Bank.
- Party Buff Fix: Mighty Majin buffs now persist through logouts as they should.
- Crafting Success: CCBD crafts now have a 100% success rate.
- Flight Redesign: Soar through the skies with a brand-new flight system!
- Server Rates:
- Solo EXP: 100%, Party EXP: 150%, Item Drop: 150%, Quest EXP: 130%.
- Group Finder: Enlist your party or join one from anywhere for seamless group content.

- Kaio-Ken Power Up: Unlock a fourth level with incredible power, but beware of intense ki drain!
- Dragon Buffs: Now even stronger!
- New Age Saiyaman: Meet the new defenders of West City, and learn a brand new ability taught only to the bravest Adventurers!

- Final Battle Quest: Complete every quest from Korin Village to Papaya Island for a special challenge inside the Time Chamber.
